Welcome to the Office of Research

The Office of Research (OR) was established on August 16, 2010, and has the responsibility to manage all sponsored research related activities of academic and research units. OR acts as a bridge between LUMS faculty and national and international donors or sponsors. This includes, but is not limited to, externally funded research proposals, unrestricted grants, travel grants, sponsored conferences, workshops, seminars, consulting assignments, instructional and service activities, Memorandums of Understanding (MoU), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA), and all such contracts related to externally funded projects.

The mission of the Office of Research is to provide comprehensive support to members of the LUMS research community, be engaged in the preparation and submission of research proposals, to bring funding opportunities to attention, and to institute a process of routing and tracking research proposals and awards.
